'k, tonight, after 14 days of uptime, I had my first HP server crash with 
the following coming up in the BIOS (I do love remcons) ...

1610-Temperature violation detected
      Waiting 5 minutes for system to cool
      Press Esc key to resume booting without waiting for the system to cool.
WARNING: Pressing Esc is NOT recommended as the system may shutdown 
unexpectedly

Is there a method of monitoring temperature and such more 'realtime', to 
figure out there is a problem?
