I can't comment on the contents of the FTP servers, but if you
use FreeBSD 6.x, you can get a package at:
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=3D11118

Note that it's still port revision zero with the
"traditional" configuration file handling.

I can't reproduce this here.

Does /usr/ports/www/privoxy/work/privoxy-3.0.6-stable exist
and does it have any weird permissions? Does it change anything
if you remove /usr/ports/www/privoxy/work/ first?

I already read that you got it working now,
but you may want to read: http://www.privoxy.org/faq/misc.html#TOR
anyway.
