I have had "net/sendemail" installed on my systems for years and have usually never had a problem with it. Suddenly, one had appeared. I just updated some modules on my FreeBSD-8.3 STABLE system when this occurred. I might add that I am using "sendEmail" with SSL. I have the following modules installed: security/p5-IO-Socket-SSL -- version 1.80 security/p5-Net-SSLeay -- version 1.49 security/p5-Crypt-SSLeay -- Version 0.64 Error Message: <quote> Using the default of SSL_verify_mode of SSL_VERIFY_NONE for client is depreciated! Please set SSL_verify_mode to SSL_VERIFY_PEER together with SSL_ca_file|SSL_ca_path for verification. If you really don't want to verify the certificate and keep the connection open to Man-In-The-Middle attacks please set SSL_verify_mode explicitly to SSL_VERIFY_NONE in your application. ******************************************************************* at /usr/local/bin/sendEmail line 1906. </quote> The mail is sent however, so apparently this is a frivolous message. >How-To-Repeat: Install "perl5/5.16.2" with the latest updated modules and then install "net/sendemail" with the "SSL" option checked. Then when using the program, use the SSL option. >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
