I has a P6 200mhz system running 2.2-releng to the latest 2.2.5-BETA that had 2 2740 controllers. I replaced 1 of 2740 with a 3740 when I added an extra drive to it and splitted 12 drives into 3 channels. The system has been generating the following errors about twice a day with different drives/ahc channel... Oct 4 16:16:39 clark /kernel: ahc1: WARNING no command for scb 99 (cmdcmplt) Oct 4 16:16:39 clark /kernel: QOUTCNT == 1 Oct 4 16:16:49 clark /kernel: sd9(ahc1:11:0): SCB 0x5 - timed out while idle, L ASTPHASE == 0x1, SCSISIGI == 0xe6 Oct 4 16:16:49 clark /kernel: SEQADDR = 0x6 SCSISEQ = 0x12 SSTAT0 = 0x27 SSTAT1 = 0xb Oct 4 16:16:49 clark /kernel: Ordered Tag queued Oct 4 16:16:49 clark /kernel: Ordered Tag sent Oct 4 16:16:55 clark /kernel: sd9(ahc1:11:0): SCB 0x5 - timed out while idle, L ASTPHASE == 0x1, SCSISIGI == 0x0 Oct 4 16:16:55 clark /kernel: SEQADDR = 0x7 SCSISEQ = 0x12 SSTAT0 = 0x5 SSTAT1 = 0xa Oct 4 16:16:55 clark /kernel: sd9(ahc1:11:0): Queueing an Abort SCB Oct 4 16:16:55 clark /kernel: sd9(ahc1:11:0): Abort Message Sent Oct 4 16:16:55 clark /kernel: sd9(ahc1:11:0): SCB 5 - Abort Tag Completed. Oct 4 16:16:55 clark /kernel: sd9(ahc1:11:0): no longer in timeout Beside pause the system for a minute or so, the system kept running. Should I ignore the errors or something I could do? Best regards PS: I has the following options enabled: options AHC_TAGENABLE options AHC_SCBPAGING_ENABLE options AHC_ALLOW_MEMIO
