Hi all,
Well, here's the state of play. I can't believe I'm the only person
in the world trying to do this.
Using ppp I can connect to the remote NT server.
Handshaking begins, but fails;

A config request is received; Ack-Recvd
The request is not acknowledged; SendConfigNak
Now, that AUTHPROTO proto = c223
and
AUTHPROTO proto = c023
would seem to be trying to tell me something, but what?
Can I presume that if they were both the same, then ppp would go PPP.
Turn
on in other words, and complete the connection? But then maybe I'm
looking
in the wrong place.
In review.
Connection takes place at the modem and logon stage, and
PAP authenticates me, and logs me on. The protocol negotiation
then starts, but fails, as noted above.
I am damned if I can find out why.
This ONLY happens when trying to connect to an NT server.
I can NOT change the NT server.
I will collate all my messages, and responses, and when I get this
working,
post it to the list, and keep it for future refrence.
