Hello. We just tried to upgrade a machine from 4.0-RELEASE to
-STABLE last night. We are now seeing the following error:
mount: block device required

when mounting the filesystems. The system will boot with kernel.GENERIC
(from a previous release)... even building the GENERIC kernel fails to
boot properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
