First off, you can get just as good graphic performance from BSD as from
Windows, as long as your hardware is supported.
Second, the list will want to know specifics of your graphic hardware in
order to help.
Third, you may want to get a more recent version of FreeBSD (4.3 is the
latest) in order to get the best graphic support.
