Hi,

Mozilla provides a download for 4.5 that doesn't require a compile .. 
just untar and run. I got it to work on my 4.4 box with some minor 
tweaking although I can't remember specifically what I did. I think I 
had an entry in my .cshrc for an older version ( .90 ) that was messing 
things up. Currently running 4.6 and mozilla works dandy.
