Do you mean NFORCE2 chipset-based motherboard or NFORCE2 AGP?
The default X coming with FreeBSD 4.8 or later works on both cases.
It also works for NFORCE4 AGP where I am typing right now.

Are you using Intel 865 or 875 chipset-based motherboard?
You need to provide more details.
