I downloaded the test port tree for xorg 7.2 and rebuilt all (following the procedure mentioned in the wiki). I had some difficulties with some packages refusing to deinstall because of different prefix and had to force deinstall. There are still a few thinks that I wasn't able to recompile, but everything si fully functional (as a matter of fact it never ceased to be). Thanks to xorg developers for this fine job. And, of course, beryls compile fine, even if I can't use it because my radeon x1950 only supports vesa, I get a blank screen if I start beryl (but this was somehow expected ;) Bruno Damour
