trying to load 4.3 stable on a couple of TP750Cs (as test machines) 36Mb ram, 500Mb hdd, 2.88Mb floppy download and create kern.flp and mfsroot.flp, when I boot the TP with kern I get the following error Disk error 0x4 (lha=0x30) Disk error 0x4 (lha=0x30) No /boot/loader >>FreeBSD/i386 BOOT default: 0:fd(0,a)/kernel boot: Disk error 0x4 (lha=0x30) No /kernel >>FreeBSD/i386 BOOT default: 0:fd(0,a)/kernel boot: I have tried making a 2.88M floppy from the boot.flp file and it also crashes with (oh the shame, I can't remember the exact error) an error I think like not ufs Any one had success with this? regards Pete To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
