That behaves as expected.  The mouse gets out of sync, produces
some kind of erroneous behavior (e.g. acts like a button has been
pressed although that is not the case) and is immediately restored
to working.

psmintr: out of sync (00c0 != 0000).
psmintr: re-enable the mouse.
psmintr: out of sync (00c0 != 0000).
psmintr: re-enable the mouse.
