I am guessing I should take these diffs from the base directory. Is this
correct?
diff(1) seems to indicate the following standard options for producing
patches:
diff -crN foo.orig foo >foo.diff
Is this indeed the preferred style/option set? (Perhaps diff -crN foo.orig
foo >foo.patch would be clearer)
I'm guessing I should send the diffs to www@freebsd.org. Is there someone
else I should send them to also?
It seems as though the freebsd mail servers sometimes drop messages that
have attachments. Is it best to simply include the patch in the body of my
email?
Thanks again,
Evan
