shutdown now seems to be an SMP kernel
problem as far as I can tell. I'm going
to wipe machine and install 4.3-RELEASE
from my new dist that arrived yesterday.
That will a) allow me to check the 4.3
install media, aka, see if it really
the pits ;) and b) check the SMP shutdown
problem.
