aide defaults to storing everything in /var/adm/aide. This is inconsistent with FreeBSD; storing the configuration file in /usr/local/etc, and the database in /var/db/aide, would be optimal. Also, there is no verbosity level which would output only the names and locations of changed files, without going into details for each file.
