For some reason I have been noticing that telnet sessions out of FreeBSD aren't as reliable for this system as they used to be. telnetting to explorer.clark.net, kaiwan.com port 25 and a few other machines connect, and then just close the connection with no text traversing. I pop over to a linux machine on the same network segment and it works like a charm. Any ideas? These are random systems and I have no reason to believe that there would be any kind of malicious or security programs blocking our connects [kaiwan.com accepts telnet login requests, just not port 25, explorer accepts port 25 but not logins all from the freebsd machine] Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Thanks, -Jerry.
