=09What do you mean by "extendable"?  My understanding of terminfo
is that its mainly a "compiled" termcap entry, spread over a directory
tree structure vs one flat file...other then that, they have the same
features.

=09According to one of the developers, they took out the capability
to use a pure termcap system, and quite frankly, I'm a little confused
as to what is so special about termcap.
