As for -current, we'll see. I don't have a lot of cycles to spend chasing down bugs that aren't mine. I'm shooting for Darwin/OpenBSD support by the end of the year. I'm not tying into the ATA framework as there are some ATA commands which don't make sense in this context. I'm using Read Sectors, Write Sectors, and Identify Device. Next I'll look into supporting the SMART set via ioctl, but outside of that I don't think I'm missing anything. I'll admit I haven't yet examined the ata ioctl closely. Sam
