I'd be happy to help you do that -- I've had John's branches checked out
locally for a while.  Let me know how I can help out, and I will do so. 
Peter and Jake may also be a good resources, since they've been keeping an
eye on things also.  The primary branch of interest is jhb_proc, since
that includes the process locking, credential management, etc.
