Hello,
XP1000G, FreeBSD-5.0 here.
I am not able to mount the floppy.
in the kernel

device          fdc
device atapifd # ATAPI floppy drives

and in device.hints

hint.fdc.0.at="isa"
hint.fdc.0.port="0x3F0"
hint.fdc.0.irq="6"
hint.fdc.0.drq="2"
hint.fd.0.at="fdc0"
hint.fd.0.drive="0"

fdc0: <Enhanced floppy controller (i82077, NE72065 or clone)> at port
0x3f7,0x3f0-0x3f5 irq 6 drq 2 on isa0
fdc0: interrupting at ISA irq 6

but I Cannot find any devices named /dev/fd0

I don't know what to do else I Read all the FAQ I Could find and all the
google references I could find without succes.

I need fd0 to work, I use it to sign certificates and to
bring certificates from the CA machine to my computer to send them to
users.

thanks a lot

Rick
