Check the obvious first.

Double check your supfiles.

Re-read the docs.

Watch cvs-all.

Study the make targets and try building some of the key subtargets.  It's
at least a step toward learning the build process.

Keep supping and making (once a week or once a day), current is often not
buildable.

If you're new to current track it for at least a couple of months
doing all of the above before posting to current.
