I receive this error message on boot using a Dell Studio XPS 1640 w/ Core2 Duo.
I have tested 9.3-RELEASE and 10.0-RELEASE with identical results. I have not
yet attempted the original reporter's fix.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install FreeBSD 9.3 or 10 using the "ZFS" partitioning scheme with GPT on a
Dell Studio XPS 1640.
2. Reboot
