https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=196497 Bug ID: 196497 Summary: On some PowerBooks vt crashes in early boot Product: Base System Version: 11.0-CURRENT Hardware: ppc OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jhibbits@FreeBSD.org On a specific PowerBook (1.5GHz, adb keyboard, ATI graphics), vt crashes very early in boot, before printing even the `KDB:...' lines, unless we break into Open Firmware at boot, and boot the loader using the `mac-boot' command. Removing vt and using sc instead works just fine. This is an anomaly, as on 3 other PowerBooks of different generations from this one work just fine with vt(4). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
