https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D225437 Bug ID: 225437 Summary: databases/mariadb102-server and databases/mariadb102-client conflicts because installs same files Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: brnrd@freebsd.org Reporter: fsbruva@yahoo.com Assignee: brnrd@freebsd.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(brnrd@freebsd.org) Created attachment 190042 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D190042&action= =3Dedit Unified diff of changes to both -server and -client The pkg-plist for mariadb102-server and -client have errors. The result is = that when attempting an upgrade of -client when -server is already installed lea= ds to the install failing with a message like: "pkg-static: mariadb102-client-10.2.12_1 conflicts with mariadb102-server-10.2.12 (installs files into the same place). Problematic file: /usr/local/include/mysql/my_sys.h *** Error code 70" The four files are actually supposed to remain with the server install. include/mysql/my_global.h include/mysql/my_sys.h include/mysql/mysql_com.h include/mysql/mysql_version.h They all contain the following: "/* Do not edit this file directly, it was auto-generated by cmake */ #warning This file should not be included by clients, include only <mysql.h= >" The attached .diff corrects the pkg-plists for both, and corrects the post-install section of -server's Makefile. Tested on FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p6, amd64 --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
