Knocking Solaris was out of line (imho). As the guy that started this thread with an off-hand comment, let me say it wasn't intended so much as a knock at Solaris. I could have used HP-UX, or True64 just as easily. I believe, that in most cases, the support for FreeBSD, via these mailing lists, works better than the support that I pay for on my commercial systems. And, I should also point out, if I wanted to pay for emergency support on my FreeBSD systems, I can. -crl -- Chad R.
