hello we have here some problems with our FreeBSD PCI P90 which won't dump kernel crash dumps if the Xserver is running (only if the S3 Xserver is running - not with the console or a generic VGA16 Xserver) - the system then simply hangs and does nothing - the hd light is on and that it was i think it must have something todo with the PCI bus (it's the only think i can imagin at the moment) - because it works fine if i try to crash the system from the console (artificial crashes :-) or if i use a generic VGA16 Xserver the software is FreeBSD 2.0.5-RELEASE (GENERIC and own kernel - i also tried the kernel.GENERIC from the latest snap -> same thing) and the Xservers are from XFree86 3.1.2 the hardware is a PCI P90 with PCI EIDE (on board i think - at the moment i don't have the doc's at hand but i may look at it on monday - please send me a mail if you need more specific informations) and the graphiccard is a ELSA winner 1000TRIO PCI if you need any more information - please send me a mail and you'll get it many thanks in advance - t
