I was wondering what is the correct syntax for mounting a Linux ext2fs file system? I tried mount -t ext2fs /dev/sd1 /mnt and it gave:- Wrong magic number: 8867 (expected ef53 for EXT2FS) The patition I am trying to mount is on a 540MB SCSI driver set to SCSI ID=2 and the drive contains 1 partition that is formatted under linux. - Ernie.
