-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hi, I read the entry in the FreeBSD FAQ about swap consumption (entry 6.1, http://www.freebsd.org/FAQ/FAQ75.html) and I have the impression that it is wrong. The kernel source seems to indicate that code pages of executables are mmap'ed and then handled by the vnode pager (which would pagein free pages from the file system via the vnode) and never given to the swap pager. Am I right with this reading or did I miss something obvious? joerch - -- Joerg Czeranski EMail czeranski@informatik.tu-clausthal.de Osteroeder Strasse 55 IRC joerch on #ttlk D 38678 Clausthal-Zellerfeld WWW http://www.in.tu-clausthal.de/~injc/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2i iQCVAwUBMyMV60E0QZRle8qtAQHkUwQAtT580bXWO0Ij3PbPrzoKMeeKgxU3xv+6 afcSW0L3DTtmWGZdhUII3XyUbHGNMG5agoTlOnjKODmXBHecPX24BqigmfL0HQNw yShNxp3sbqZ/I8/Pvg8Ay4cbg9hWHKIMMwvgDY6oi70DcpSs/4YTUJCt12My1j7D tmx6C4ulZmg= =jyol -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
