When I was installing FreeBSD 2.2.1, I did it over an FTP installation, and it asked for the directory. I have to go through a proxy server, however, it ended up being ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/2.2.1-RELEASES that was sent to the program (it was actually ftp://192.168.0.1/pub/FreeBSD/2.2.1-RELEASES, with a username of anonymous@ftp.freebsd.com). I didn't know that you have to leave out the version's directory, and just to point to the FreeBSD directory. Thought you should know. In other words, using /pub/FreeBSD worked whereas /pub/FreeBSD/2.2.1-RELEASES didn't, although I thought it required it, but anyways....I'm a dufus.
