-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Well my Tecra 730 finally arrived. I tried to use the latest patches but it appears that the FreeBSD server nolomger carries the 2.2-ALPHA but only the 2.2-BETA. It seemed that the best approach would be to use the patches against 2.1.5R. I got past a problem with the modem seral port using the options information in the laptop survey. I have not yet been able to configure X but I still have some things to try. The real problem I am having is with my 3Com 3c589C Combo card. I can not get it to use the BNC connector. I will take it to work tomorrow to see if the UTP port actually works. In any case any hints would be welcome.
