No.

Their kernel contains their extra code.  This affects the APM interface, 
the PCCARD interface, and some drivers.

I would suggest reading their patches to see what their current state
of play is, and/or visiting their webpage.  

On the whole, the basic stuff is covered by the standard kernel.
There is a shortage of time and resources when it comes to integrating
the Nomads' code into the base system.
