I'll talk samba only. For the package install mount cdrom #1, su to root and issue `pkg_add -v samba-1.9.15p8.tgz' and see if that doesn't work. For building ports, mount cdrom #2, su to root, go into the ports directory ie. `cd /usr/ports/net/samba' make and after good build, make install. See if that works :) Happy trails, Tom
