When using 'expireperiod' in login.conf, nothing appears to happen,
except that the password expires in 90 days regardless of what
expire period is set to.

Any ideas?  I'm looking through code, but am not successful in finding
where that is coming from... :(

Yes, I've used cap_mkdb to make login.conf into a db file.
