Here's what I'm doing right now:
root@xyz(15)$ df /y
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
/dev/sd1s4d 8616857 5350066 2577443 67% /y
root@xyz(16)$ cat /y/mirror/ftp.freebsd.org
package=FreeBSD.25
site=ftp.freebsd.org
remote_dir=/pub/FreeBSD
local_dir=/y/ftp/pub/FreeBSD
ls_lR_file=ls-lR.gz
remote_idle=600
exclude_patt+|(^CTM)|(^FreeBSD-CVS)|(^FreeBSD-stable/src)|(^FreeBSD-current/src)|(^incoming)|(^mailing-lists)|(.nocompress)
umask=04022
max_delete_files=50%
I don't carry the expanded source trees in FTP since cvsweb and CVSUP
are far better distribution tools than FTP mirrors for those files. I
also carry the PostgreSQL on this same disk, and the complete XFree86
(again excluding expanded sources) on another disk. The ``9G'' disk
is an ST39173WC, and the other two (including the CVSUP mirror) are
ST34xxxWCs.
