-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hope this is the right newsgroup: I'm trying to run a Java client on an internal network that uses Socks5 for its firewall/gateway. The Socks server is a 2.2.6 box running the socks5-1.0.3 port. I'm using jdk1.1.5-FreeBSD:1998/02/08, BTW. If I just run the client as is, it can't talk to computers outside of the network (which it needs to do.) I tried running java with of the 'runsocks' script that came with the socks5 port, and I get a segmentation fault. I have the full crash message if you think it would be of any assistance. Any and all help is appreciated. - --- John Baldwin - -- jobaldwi@vt.edu -- jbaldwin@freedomnet.com -- ---- http://www.freedomnet.com/~jbaldwin/ ---- "I waited for the Lord on high/I waited and He heard my cry." - Petra -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQB1AwUBNgcOLYjYza302vYpAQFiyAL/W9OZLMhvofo5ay+K/17bHzNjExtBIXaK ctSIpvPkyxAXtBI1vu9uiswhhWupgKGQFOtwbrm12xwbcsXh/AYKTJAFrVYeIYXO KXCGsoSdr9teWMdRTunsN+WuBxrzG3RM =ISWD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-java" in the body of the message
