Pardon the intrusion, I'm not on this list but wondered if any of you could help us out. Some of the people on the freebsd-newbies mailing list have been asking what they would have to do to set up a user group in their area, and none of us have the foggiest. Is there any information you could point us at? Also some are wondering what is required in order for a FreeBSD user group to become "official" and be listed on the web site. So far we've had two announced to the small freebsd-newbies audience, one being an expansion of an existing Linux group to include FreeBSD. There's no responsible person listed on the web site and we're not very good at guessing how to get this kind of information, so please accept my apologies if this message is inappropriate, and thanks if you can help in any way. Please reply to me or to freebsd-newbies@freebsd.org, as you wish. -- Regards, -*Sue*- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-user-groups" in the body of the message
