Hello. I'm configuringng a system for IP over ATM with FreeBSD 3.1. I tried both BSDATM and HARP with Efficient Network Inc. ATM NIC. I found that hea0(ENI ATM NIC in HARP) works well with Fore ATM Switch 200BX but en0 (ENI ATM NIC in BSDATM) results in severe CRC errors at the receiver side if two ENI ATM NICs are connected by the ATM switch. The resulting performance shown by netperf is 500kbps while we get 80Mbps with hea0. There are no CRC errors if the two ENI ATM NICs are connected directly without any ATM switch between them. Please can you help me figure out what is wrong? Have you met such problem and did you solve it? Thanks very much for your help in advance.
