I have recently obtained the JDK 1.1.7 from the web site. File Name: jdk1.1.7_ELF.V99-3-25.tar.gz I am running FreeBSD 3.1 Whenever I run the java compiler, it dumps core. This happens when I just do a java -version I had found that the java in the bin dir is sym linked to i386/green_threads/java, when I executed that it was complaining about libjava.so not being found, so I added the /usr/local/jdk1.1.7/lib/i386/green_threads to my ldconfig path, and I still get core dumps. I was wondering if anyone had had anything like this happening.
