In order to roll out a release on that time frame, the -stable branch will enter code freeze sometime in late April, right? That will give us just over one month to merge bits and pieces from the -current branch and fix problems in the -stable branch. I wonder that would really give us a well tested, truly robust and stable release. The 3.1-RELEASE is only one month old and users are just starting to install it on their machines. We have had a bunch of initial problem/bug reports, and I expect more complaints/reports/suggestions will come in the next few weeks. We shall need a bit of time to sort these things out... I would suggest June 1st. Kazu To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
