Hmm, I got a job offer from Opera a couple of months back, they wanted
me to work on (amongst other things) Unix porting. Unfortunately, I
had to turn that offer down as I didn't want to quit my current job. I
cant tell you it was not easy to turn that offer down :(

The Opera for Linux beta is quite usable, though it segfaults a lot
(at least on FreeBSD). Opera is the only (relatively) sane graphical
browser I know of, so I'm very anxious to see a Unix version ship.
