I have a weird directory on an msdos filesystem which appears in the
parent directory listing (i.e. ls on the parent directory shows it),
but for which stat() on the directory itself fails:
mollari# ls .

[...]

This is under 5.0, but I've seen it for quite a while, possibly back
as far as pre-4.0. Any ideas?
