I'm running 3.4 stable on all of my hardware (all one of them), and I have
no core dumps at all. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to suggest that your
hardware may be at fault. If you see sig 11, try running a memory tester.

I guess if you're having ldconfig trouble, you should have more applications
die on you than just Java compilers.

I'll be happy to compile a code snippet for you if you send it to me, just
to see if it will work on my box.
