Shelly, IBM provides free copies of the VisualAge for Java for Linux Entry Edition off of their web site. The only restriction the Entry Edition contains is a maximum limit of 500 classes. http://www.software.ibm.com/ad/vajava Personally, I own the professional edition and highly recommend it.
