Hi!
I am very anxious to test out the JDK1.2.2 FreeBSD port with my =
application.
I have tried to build the JDK using the Sun source and the FreeBSD =
patches,
but ran into some problems that I feel is out of hand for me.
Basically, what I was wondering was if someone has a binary =
distribution
that
I can try out on my box. I would be glad to give feedback on whatever I =
may
discover.
My box is a 4.1-RELEASE and the application I am developing is very
intensive on direct and multicast UDP communication. I have tried the
Blackdown port in linux compat mode, but it fails on Multicast
sockets (seems as if it doesn't set SO_REUSEADDR).
Any help is appreciated, both with providing a binary distribution and =
on
the SO_REUSEADDR problem. Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,
Mattias Nilsson
