Why the hell not put up a conspicous apology to the web page explaining that ftp.freebsd.org doesn't work (and as a consequence much of the infrastructure outside of CVS/cvsup for that matter) so people don't have to come and ask one-by-one? Let's face it guys, this has already been very embarassing, it can't get any worse and by explaining to people that we are working on a fix, we are actually regaining face and not look unprofessional in the eyes of the many visitors. After all, a notice can be taken down rather quickly once things are A OK again... -- Regards: Szilveszter ADAM Szeged University Szeged Hungary To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
