dear friends: I have two dns-servers at 200.198.77.34 and 200.198.77.35, and when querying it with the nslookup and dnsquery everything appears as normal. I am even using it here as my default servers - and we are not in the same link, some kilometers apart. everything runs smoothly, it is resolving any names, I am surfing in a very normal fashion. BUT: a) when starting named, after a few seconds of the message *listening on..*, suddenly pops the following message: :=== begin named[2876]:sysquery:findns error (NXDOMAIN) on deviant-1.77.198.200.in-addr.arp named[2876]:sysquery:findns error (NXDOMAIN) on deviant-2.77.198.200.in-addr.arp :=== end this is (think so) the cause of the real problem: any e-mail, either from outside or inside (lan) is refused, with the message (/var/log/mail.info): =refused - sender domain must resolve = Well, as I am using these dns and it IS resolving any query, I am completely stuck, and pulling out all my hair. Any hint, please?? (you can experiment using these dns-servers as your default ones, and sending a mail to test@dixtal.com.br), for the complete mail-error message. saudações, irado furioso com tudo GNU/Linux user CASSADO explicando o padre marcelo (mala) ´popstar´ rossi: mer%# velha com roupagem nova. por favor, clique aqui: http://www.thehungersite.com e aqui também: http://cf6.uol.com.br/umminuto/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Nettaxi would like to ask for your help in donations to the RED CROSS today! http://www.nyredcross.org/donate/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-net" in the body of the message
