Please help test this release candidate on as many different configurations as possible. In particular, there were recent changes to sysinstall, BIND, the aic7xxx driver, and pccard that we would like to thoroughly stress-test. An RC2 image will be available next week with working GNOME packages (omitted in this RC) and any bugfixes necessitated by this release.
