a TYAN 2500 mainboard. As with the cvsupdate from around July, 1st,
SMP got some kind 'flaky' status and it crashed not even on this

boxes (and each one has a different main  PCB.

This problem seems to be solved with now and all systems run
'stable'. The only thing we did in the kernel configs was: remove
the MFS filesystem and doing some tweakings with default data and
textsegemnt size as recommended in a prior thread ...
