(Fonts that contain all characters required by the Polish alphabet). Hungarian also uses Latin-2, but we have the proper fonts so the problem that you describe here does not happen (nearly so often:-) You can try the iso02* fonts from /usr/share/syscons/fonts directory, that is what works for me. I hope it also does for you.
