I have an old HP Omnibook 4100, and I'm trying to get the USB subsystem working. I've searched the web and the archives, and the only things that I've found point to PnP BIOS problems and/or things that were fixed a long time ago. Neither seems applicable. Anyway, the symptoms: uhci0: <Intel 82371AB/EB (PIIX4) USB controller> irq 10 at device 7.2 on pci0 uhci0: Could not map ports device_probe_and_attach: uhci0 attach returned 6 The OS: FreeBSD 4.7-RC (cvsup-ed a few days before 4.7 release) The config: device uhci # UHCI PCI->USB interface device ohci # OHCI PCI->USB interface device usb # USB Bus (required) .etc... Thanks for any input. I've run out of things to try. --Mark To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
